January 14th marks the 100th day since the abduction of approximately 240 hostages by Hamas from the Nova Music Festival. Among the hostages was Hersh Goldberg-Polin, who is still being held.
Every day since her son's incarceration, Rachel Goldberg wrote the number of days since his son was taken away on a piece of masking tape and placed it on her chest above his heart. Now she's inviting the public to get involved.
The “Bring Hersh Home” campaign is launching an initiative called “Hostages on the Heart.” On January 14, 2023, Goldberg asked people to write the number “100'' on a piece of tape and place it on their shirt near their chest. As she has done for many days now, and will continue to do so until her son is born. return home.

In a press release obtained by Fox News, Rachel Goldberg said, “Sadly, for 100 days, I had to repeat the same routine every morning, watching the numbers increase each day as I put my shirt on.'' It was taped on,” he said. “I don't want to do this for another day, but as long as Harsh remains stolen, I will keep a record of the days he's been gone. I ask you to be with me on the 100th day. More than 130 hostages are still languishing in captivity, helping to continue to raise awareness that they must be released immediately.”
Today, that number will represent the number of days her son and many others have been in captivity.
Those released primarily as a result of the ceasefire agreement in November 2023 have revealed the harrowing experiences they endured while in captivity.
Goldberg hopes to get 1 million people involved in the effort.
