Mother of Oxford High School Shooter Says Husband Bought Gun for Son

The mother of the Oxford High School shooter on Nov. 30, 2021, admitted to an affair and claimed her husband bought a handgun for her son on Black Friday 2021.

CNN I got it. The mother, Jennifer Crumbley, said her husband, James Crumbley, was responsible for keeping the gun safe.

She said: It was his thing so I let him do it. I was reluctant to lock the door. ”

After the shooting, Ms. Crumbley sent a message to her ex-marital boyfriend in which she wrote, “I have failed as a parent. I have failed miserably.”

“As parents, we spend our lives protecting our children from other dangers,” she said in court testimony. “You would never feel like you have to protect your child from harming others. It was about hurting and killing other people.”

of daily mail report When Crumbley’s affair with Fire Chief Brian Melouche was exposed during court proceedings and testimony, she said,[admitted] She even went so far as to use a swapping app called “Adult Friend Finder” to recruit others to hotel sex parties. ”

Crumbley could be sentenced to up to 60 years in prison if convicted in the deaths of four people caused by her son in a school shooting. But Crumbley accused his son’s father of not storing the gun properly.

She also claimed that she did not know that her husband intended to buy a handgun for their son.
