MSNBC has corrected a TikTok video in which Joe Rogan appeared to conflate praise for former Hawaii Rep. Tulsi Gabbard with praise for Vice President Kamala Harris.
Logan and Gabbard say the news outlet “deceptively edited”The Joe Rogan ExperienceThe host praised Harris while speaking about Gabbard, but MSNBC later corrected him.
“We have removed an earlier version of this post which falsely suggested Joe Rogan was talking about Vice President Kamala Harris. He was referring to Tulsi Gabbard,” the outlet said in a memo. Added to the new version of the video.
The original MSNBC clip is from August 2nd.

During a podcast on Tuesday, Rogan explained how MSNBC took his comments about Gabbard out of context and applied them to Harris.
“But here's what MSNBC did: They took footage of me talking about Tulsi Gabbard and edited it to make it look like I was saying nice things about Kamala Harris,” he said.
The host denied rumors that he was planning to file a lawsuit against the network over the clip, saying he was “not going to sue MSNBC.”
Rogan specifically accused the network of “misleadingly editing what I said” and “taking it completely out of context.”
He said the outlet had taken clips from two separate parts of his podcast – one predicting Harris' victory in November and another praising Gabbard's experience – and combined them to make it appear as if he was endorsing Harris for the White House.
“I was talking about how Tulsi Gabbard served as a congresswoman for eight years and served overseas. [as part of] “I've done two medical missions to treat people who were blown up in war,” he said, adding, “That's not what Kamala Harris did. That's what Tulsi Gabbard did.”
MSNBC “released it as a clip of me praising Kamala Harris.”

Gabbard called out the MSNBC clip in a post on X earlier this month, saying the outlet had “cleverly edited various comments by Joe Rogan to make them appear to praise Kamala Harris.”
Gabbard's post allegedly included portions of the original TikTok, including a clip of Logan telling political commentator Michael Maris that he believes Harris will win the presidential election.
The TikTok then quickly cuts to another video in which Logan says, “She's a strong woman. She served overseas twice in the medical corps. She served in Congress for eight years.”
Gabbard said that in the latter clip, Rogan had actually praised Gabbard's military and political record in another part of the podcast. Like Rogan, she argued that the clip was cut with the host's actual prediction that Harris “would win,” to make it seem as if his comments were all about the vice president.
The original misleading TikTok is no longer available.
“This is another example of MSNBC working hand in hand with Democratic elites and the Kamala Harris campaign to spread lies, things that are not true,” Gabbard said.
MSNBC's edited TikTok removed the clip purportedly from Gabbard's video and featured an extended interview with Malice in which Rogan argued that Harris would win because people were being manipulated by the media to reject Trump.
