MSNBC staffers scatter after bed bugs found at Manhattan HQ ahead of Super Tuesday coverage

An apparent bedbug infestation at MSNBC’s Manhattan headquarters caused its staff to disperse hours before the left-leaning network’s Super Tuesday coverage, The Post has learned.

On Sunday, an “unidentified insect” was seen at the recently renovated Studio 3A at 30 Rock in Midtown, home to election specials and The Rachel Maddow Show, according to a memo obtained by The Post.

An additional studio on the third floor was also closed “out of an abundance of caution.”

“They’re scrambling,” an NBC source told the Post on Monday. “They have already rented a local unused studio for several shows in recent weeks, so studio space is tight.”

The memo said exterminators were brought in to treat the studio, dressing room and control room.

The Post has reached out to MSNBC for comment.

It’s unclear whether the restoration efforts will allow anchors to return to the main studio in time for preliminary coverage on Tuesday, when voters in 15 states and American Samoa go to the polls.
