Drivers are being urged to delay crossing the bridge, Fox 5 reports. Eastbound and westbound traffic alternate on the eastbound span. Officials said service in both directions was prohibited due to fog and limited visibility.

According to Fox 5, motorists are asked to stay on US 50 on both sides of the bridge to keep local roads open for first responders and residents.
