Arizona Pastor’s Murder Sparks Alarming Confession

A man has been arrested in connection with the brutal murder of a pastor in rural Arizona, and his admission is sending shockwaves through the community. Adam Sheafe, 51, confessed not only to killing Rev. Bill Schoenman but also revealed he intended to target more than a dozen other Christian leaders.

Schoenman, who led the New River Bible Chapel, was discovered dead in his home on April 28th, with his arm unnaturally pinned to the wall behind him. This unsettling scene has left many in the area in disbelief.

In an interview, Sheafe expressed a disturbing rationale behind his actions, claiming he saw a moral decay within the Christian church. He referred to his intended mission as “Operation of the First Commandments,” aiming to crucify fourteen leaders from various denominations.

Interestingly, Sheafe was apprehended near the Chapel of the Holy Cross in Sedona, Arizona, where he reportedly planned to kill two priests.

Describing a failed attempt earlier, he recounted an incident where he tried to access the back of a car belonging to a priest but was thwarted. “A woman on my bike got in the way,” he explained. Later, he defiantly stated he had no regrets about the murder.

During another interview, he detailed his premeditated approach to Schoenman’s murder. He waited after observing the pastor at a Bible study, then followed him home. Sheafe admitted, “I executed him on this wall and crucified him.”

In a shocking twist, Sheafe has also expressed a desire for the death penalty, stating, “The victims want that. The victims’ families want that. I want that, and the taxpayers want that.”

Currently, he faces first-degree murder charges in Maricopa County but is being held in Coconino County Jail. The Maricopa County Attorney’s Office is reviewing the case, and it remains unclear if he has legal representation at this time.
