Musk: ‘I Have No Regrets’ About His DOGE Involvement and Support for Trump

Elon Musk, the CEO of SpaceX, has expressed that he does not regret his role at the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), even as he prepares to step down. In a recent conversation with Fox News host Lara Trump, he confidently stated, “No,” when asked about any regrets regarding his position. He emphasized the importance of Donald Trump winning the presidency to ensure the prosperity of the United States.

Musk also remarked that if Trump had lost, the Democratic strategy to significantly increase illegal voter numbers might have succeeded. He acknowledged that some might doubt this idea, suggesting that the more one examines it, the more plausible it seems.

Reflecting on his time at DOGE, Musk noted the intense scrutiny he faced. “It wasn’t boring, that’s for sure,” he commented, indicating that the past year has been quite eventful. He even humorously added, “At least I wasn’t shot. You know, looking on the bright side.” However, Musk also addressed the violence that erupted, commenting on unexpected attacks against Tesla stores and vehicles.

He characterized the animosity directed at him and his company as somewhat anticipated, attributing it to a persistent propaganda effort from opponents of the Trump administration aimed at undermining his public image. Under his leadership, DOGE achieved a notable milestone, eliminating around $160 billion in waste within the Trump administration’s first 100 days.

Regarding his legacy, Musk shared, “I helped promote civilization, advanced civilization, added to our store of knowledge and understanding.” He emphasized his contributions to expanding our understanding of the universe.
