Former President Donald Trump received an impassioned endorsement from Grammy Award-winning country music singer Gretchen Wilson at a rally in Wisconsin on Saturday, with Wilson slamming the Democratic Party for failing the American people.
Gretchen Wilson appeared alongside Trump at his rally in Mosinee, Wisconsin, before her performance, where she spoke about her poor upbringing in Illinois and her family's Democratic roots.
“My whole family was Kennedy Democrats back in the day, but back then the Democrats were on the side of the people,” she said. “Once I started to realize what was really going on, I realized the Democratic Party had turned away from us.”
She then called on Americans to vote for Trump Vance in November to protect freedom.

As Breitbart News reported, the Democratic Party under Kamala Harris is fast becoming the party of corporate power.
On Friday, about 90 company CEOs and other leaders signed a letter endorsing Kamala for president, symbolizing a major shift in the Democratic Party from one that once championed working-class Americans and the downtrodden to one that now represents unrestrained corporate interests.
Wisconsin has once again become a key battleground state in the presidential election, with polls showing President Trump and Kamala Harris virtually neck and neck.
Gretchen Wilson is perhaps best known for her 2004 Grammy Award-winning single “Redneck Woman.”
