The woman claims Jay-Z raped her about 25 years ago when she was 13 years old.

Judge Annalisa Torres on Thursday criticized the rapper's attorney, Alex Spiro, in a new filing. She accused Spiro of being belligerent and trying to “speed up” the legal process. This comes after Spiro repeatedly asked the court to deny the victim's plea for anonymity and dismiss the damning lawsuit against Jay-Z, whose real name is Jay-Z. Sean Carter.

“Attorney Carter's persistent presentation of combative allegations, including inflammatory language and attacks on humanity, is inappropriate, a waste of judicial resources, and a benefit to his client,” Torres wrote in a five-page filing. It is a tactic that is unlikely to result in

“The court is not going to expedite the judicial process just because a lawyer requests it,” the judge said. “Here, the weight of the factors tilts in favor of allowing the plaintiff anonymity, at least at this stage of the litigation.”

The damning lawsuit, filed earlier this month in the Southern District of New York, accuses the woman known only as “Jane Doe” of drugging and after-raping Jay-Z and Sean “Diddy” Combs. states that they are doing so. – 2000 MTV Video Music Awards Post-Party in New York City.

As the woman was attempting to enter the VMA show at Radio City Music Hall in September 2000, Combs' limousine driver reportedly approached her and commented on her youthful appearance. She said she invited him to the afterparty. She also claims that she was asked to sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) upon arriving at the afterparty.

According to court documents, the alleged victim became extremely intoxicated from just one alcoholic drink at a drug-fueled party before Combs and Carter assaulted her while an unidentified “female celebrity” looked on. He also claims that he did.

Meanwhile, Jay-Z strongly refuted these claims, accusing the alleged victim and her attorney Tony Buzbee of making “false statements” because the woman had difficulty remembering certain details. ” he claimed to have done.

Since then, Spiro, who is defending New York City Mayor Eric Adams, has asked the court to dismiss the motion and reveal the identity of the accuser, arguing that the case is riddled with legal contradictions. I have filed a petition requesting this.

Sean “Diddy” Combs was arrested in September after pleading not guilty to federal racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking and prostitution transportation charges, in addition to denying the rape allegation. Combs, the founder of Bad Boy Entertainment, is currently incarcerated at a federal prison in Brooklyn. His trial is scheduled to begin in May 2025.
