Winston Marshall, who previously played in the band Mumford and Sons, is adept at sticking to his beliefs.
Marshall was “canceled” after simply posting a link to Andy Ngo’s book “Unmasked: Inside Antifa’s Radical Plan to Destroy Democracy” on social media and refused to apologize.
“Hell has broken loose. He’s no longer in the band, but he’s now an incredible freedom fighter across the pond in Britain,” Dave Rubin of The Rubin Report said before showing footage of Marshall humiliating Nancy Pelosi at the Oxford Union.
“Words have a tendency to change meaning. When I was growing up, ‘woman’ meant someone with no sexual desire,” Marshall begins. “‘Populism’ became synonymous with ‘racist.’ ‘Ethno-nationalist’ became synonymous with ‘bigot,’ ‘country bumpkin,’ ‘redneck,’ ‘deplorable.'”
“You mentioned January 6th, and that was indeed a dark day for America. And I’m sure Speaker Pelosi would agree that the entire month of June 2020, when the federal courthouse in Portland, Oregon was besieged by radicals and insurrection, was a dark day for America,” he continued.
Pelosi, who was sitting nearby, interrupted Marshall’s speech and said, “There’s no parity there.”
“This is not like what happened on January 6th, which was an insurrection incited by the president of the United States,” she added confidently.
But Marshall wouldn’t let her go.
“Today, especially in America, the globalist left has taken over the reins. If Pelosi votes in favor of this motion, she will find herself out of a job,” Marshall said, adding that Trump should have accepted the 2020 election.
“That’s what Hillary should do in 2016,” he continued. “And Speaker Pelosi should do that too, instead of saying the 2016 election was ‘hijacked.'”
“Yes, it is,” Pelosi chirped back, but Marshall smiled and the audience laughed.
“Nancy Pelosi still claims the 2016 election was hijacked,” Rubin laughs.
