Tyler Reddick’s Infant Son in Critical Condition
Four-month-old son of NASCAR driver Tyler Reddick is currently in the cardiovascular intensive care unit in North Carolina due to signs of heart failure.
Alexa Reddick provided this health update through an Instagram post on Sunday. She expressed her concern, stating, “After months of visiting the pediatrician, I felt this was something more serious. Trusting a mother’s instinct is crucial. Our sweet rookie had symptoms of heart failure that seemed to be overlooked.”
In her continued message, she asked followers to pray for her son, hoping for divine healing. “I have faith that God, along with the incredible doctors at Levine, will help him. We’re in the Cardiovascular ICU,” she added.
The couple’s son, who is their second child and was born in May, remains hospitalized. However, Alexa shared a more hopeful update on Monday, detailing some progress.
Meanwhile, Tyler Reddick competed in a critical race at Kansas Speedway this past Sunday, finishing in seventh place. As he navigates the challenges on the track, he now faces the additional stress of his son’s health condition, especially with the upcoming playoff elimination looming over next week’s race.
