NASCAR star Kyle Busch’s wife playfully roasts husband in social media post

Kyle Busch fell one step short of his goal of winning the Ambetter Health 400, finishing 0.007 seconds behind winner Daniel Suarez and just about 0.004 seconds behind second place Ryan Blaney.

Busch posted a recap of his weekend at Atlanta Motor Speedway on his Instagram.

“I couldn’t get any closer. I needed a few more inches,” he wrote as a caption, thanking sponsors Cheddar and Chevrolet. “I’m excited about the strength we showed earlier this year.”

He could not escape the assault at the hands of his wife Samantha.

“I’ve been saying that for almost 20 years,” she playfully wrote in the comments section.

NASCAR fans were very surprised by this comment.

NASCAR penalizes Joey Logano for glove violation ahead of Atlanta race

Samantha Bush also posted a recap of the weekend on her Instagram. She wrote how “proud” she was that her husband competed in the race.

“Well, that was a close call! Proud of this (No. 8) team for running a strong car for consecutive weekends. Let’s carry this momentum to Las Vegas,” she wrote.

The Richard Childress Racing driver finished 12th in the Daytona 500. He won two races last season, the Enjoy Illinois 300 at Worldwide Technology Raceway in Madison, Illinois, and the Pala Casino 400 at Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, California.
