Tensions boiled over between drivers Joey Gase and Dawson Crum during the NASCAR Xfinity Series Toyota Care 250 at Richmond Raceway on Saturday afternoon.
Gass’ car changed direction on lap 174 and crashed into the wall.
It appears that Crum caused the accident, which upsets Gase.

Gase got out of his car, tore off what was left of the bumper and threw it at Crum’s car, which was back on track. The moment quickly went viral on social media.
Back near the garage, Gase was asked if there was anything that could have happened before the accident that could have led to it.
“I think he just wasn’t in the right head,” Gase said. “He’s got his first chance in Xfinity. I know (team owner) Johnny Davis doesn’t destroy race cars in his day job. We’re a small team and we’re lucky. I’m racing hard for it, but apparently (he) just did it and I don’t know how to lift it.

“So maybe his throttle is stuck. I don’t know.”
Crum finished the race in 25th place, but did not seem to deal with the situation with Gase.
“P25! Proud of the entire @jdmotorsports01 crew for working so hard to keep us moving in the right direction! Thank you @ksdtcpa and @flsheriffsyr for riding with us!” he wrote on Instagram on Sunday. wrote.

Chandler Smith won the race, with Aric Almirola, Taylor Gray, Corey Haim and Jesse Love rounding out the top five.
