Search for Missing Sailor in Virginia

Virginia authorities are actively searching for 21-year-old sailor, Angelina Petra Recendis, who was last seen at the Norfolk Naval Base on May 29th around 10 PM. Reports from the Virginia State Police highlight that her disappearance is considered critical, with concerns for her health.

Angelina’s mother, Esmeralda Castle, residing in Texas, described her daughter as “loving” and “kind.” She mentioned that Angelina worked as a culinary expert in the Navy. It’s troubling to think about—she was so engaged with her family; they used to communicate every day on Snapchat, maintaining a 400-day streak.

Esmeralda expressed her fears, noting that Angelina has been unresponsive to texts or calls since she vanished. “It’s tough to explain to people that she’s missing,” she confessed. Reports indicate that Angelina failed to show up for work, and it seems she might not have transportation, as she does not drive.
