NBA greats Magic Johnson isn't gaining any new fans on social media.
After coming under fire for saying that former President Barack Obama and former First Lady Michelle Obama's speech at the Democratic National Convention was “the greatest political speech ever given,” [the] The five-time NBA champion and Basketball Hall of Famer, described as “the greatest player in the history of our country,” is once again in trouble.

Johnson expressed his opinion to X. Vice President Kamala Harris His first media interview since accepting the Democratic nomination aired Thursday night.

“Vice President Kamala Harris was amazing in her CNN interview tonight! She has a true vision for the country,” he wrote in X's post.
Despite the praise, Harris said, Vague answers She discussed her “day one” agenda in a taped interview with her running mate, Minnesota Governor Tim Waltz, and her fans on social media seem to agree.

“What's your vision? Be specific,” one person replied to Johnson.
“You can't be serious,” wrote another.

“She has failed for 3 1/2 years…how can we believe this vision, the same failed policies of the current administration she is a part of, will lead our country to a better place,” another post read.
“What is it? I've looked twice and I didn't have any visions…”
But in a second post, Johnson seemed to disagree that Harris had made ambiguous statements in the interview.

“Vice President Harris was strong and clear about where she stands on the economy, foreign policy, immigration and other issues. She clearly explained why she changed her views on some issues, demonstrating her humility, growth and openness,” he wrote.
The response to his second post was similar.
“Instead of saying you didn't see the interview, say you didn't see the interview…”
