Los Angeles Lakers' Bronnie James reached his career-high points in the Lakers' 118-89 loss at Cyrpto.com Arena on Thursday night.
The Lakers were plundered at loss, including LeBron James (gro cascade), Luka Donsic (right ankle), Austin Raves (right ankle), Louis Hachimura (patella), Dorian Finney Smith (left ankle), and Jarrred Vanderbilt (right gro).
James took advantage of the opportunity alongside many of the Lakers stars. The 20-year-old scored 17 points, the first time he'd reached double digits in 22 career NBA games.

James' 29:53 time is the third highest on the team behind Dalton Knecht and Jordan Goodwin. James and Knecht led the team by scoring at loss as each scored 17 points. It was also the most time he'd ever recorded.
James included shooting 7-10, going 2-4 from 3-point range.
“You can gain my confidence and get my comfort with the person in charge, you know, and if it's given, it's the biggest thing for me to take advantage of my opportunity and be ready all the time,” James said.
Steph Curry's brother, Seth Curry, knows the expectations Bronnie James is dealing with: “Undoubtedly feel for him.”

Lakers head coach JJ Redick wasn't surprised by James' performance.
“We obviously monitored him in the G (League) and when he got the chance to play with us, he feels really good in such an end game situation,” Redick said. “So I won't be surprised tonight.”
