Leaked internal documents from the World Professional Association for Transgender Health have provided frightening insights into the pseudoscientific practice of so-called gender-affirming care and its dire consequences.
According to journalist Mia Hughes,

One surgeon reportedly suggested that even if a WPATH were established, there was no need to create a “naturally occurring” appearance or body part to warrant surgery.

“There will be a wave of requests for surgeries involving non-standard procedures that affirm non-dualism,” the California surgeons wrote. “I have worked with clients who identify as non-binary, agender, and eunuch who desire surgical procedures, many of which do not exist in nature or are the first of their kind.”
The WPATH files also reveal the nightmarish consequences victims faced after receiving “gender-affirming care.” Hormone-induced liver cancer has a secret story. Environmental Progress reached out to all WPATH members named in the file for comment, and two indicated they responded. One acknowledged that the comments were theirs, while the other disputed how their comments were interpreted in the report.
