Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced that the IDF attack on Rafah was under investigation.

Netanyahu was speaking on the Knesset floor on Monday after reports emerged that Israel accidentally killed 45 civilians in Rafah during an operation to eliminate Hamas.

The international community has repeatedly accused Israel of targeting Gaza residents, even as it denounces Hamas’s aims, which it does not acknowledge, are to destroy the state of Israel and kill all Jews.

Prime Minister Netanyahu touted his role in protecting and evacuating civilians in southern Gaza.

“We have already evacuated about one million civilians from Rafah and, despite our best efforts to avoid harming civilians, unfortunately a tragic incident occurred,” he said. “We are investigating the incident and will reach a conclusion, because that is our policy.”

Joe Biden wasted no time in condemning Israel: He said the Jewish state must take further precautions to protect civilians.

However, Biden did not call on Hamas to stop fighting or release the hostages it held on October 7.Number.
