Netflix came under fire after fans announced it was addressing cushioning issues ahead of the Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson fight.
Fans took to social media to express frustration that Netflix wasn't “ready for live streaming” and called on the streaming service to fix buffering issues.
One person wrote: “Well done Netflix, infinite buffering loop.” post “It’s gotta be better with more viewers, right?”
“Is anyone else experiencing buffering issues with this Netflix battle??” another person asked.
“Netflix wasn't ready for live streaming,” another wrote in an article. post. “Pixelating and buffering. I'm going to watch YouTube reruns of Tyson.”
“Yo @netflix please fix the buffering. We all knew the world would be watching this fight,” said another. I wrote.
Another: “It won’t be good for your stock.” I wrote.
“If Netflix doesn't fix this buffering issue, this will go down as one of the biggest failures in TV/streaming history,” another person wrote in the article. post With X.
Netflix started streaming it at 8pm ET, when the other fights are happening, but the fight between Paul and Tyson isn't scheduled to take place until 11pm ET. According to Go to Fox4News.
According to the paper, the fight between Paul and Tyson will be the final fight of the night.
