So I'd like to know that,” Johnson responded.
New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy recently told WNYC that the state's government is running all kinds of theories about the origin of the drones.
“I rely overwhelmingly on federal experts who do this for a living. There is no evidence that anything is armed,” he said. “Several theories exist. Again, we don't take anything off the table, even if someone says something crazy with no evidence at all. We thoroughly review everything. I've been looking into it.”

“The problem is, right now, we don't have a Department of Defense in New Jersey, and that's what I'm asking for. The Department of Defense will arrive, completely cut off drone intrusion, and declare a limited state of emergency.” “Until we figure out what's going on here, there will be drones flying in the sky,” Bramnick warned. “But without the Department of Defense, we don't have the information because this technology is so far beyond national authorities.”
