A New Jersey youth wrestling coach has been sentenced to more than seven years in federal prison for interfering with child pornography.
Alec Donovan, of Brick, New Jersey, was convicted Thursday of distributing child pornography and sentenced to 87 months in federal prison. In addition to the prison term, U.S. District Judge Zahid N. Quraishi sentenced Donovan to 30 years of supervised release.
Donovan, 26, previously pleaded guilty to a charge of distributing child pornography.

From January 2021 to March 2021, Donovan used internet-based applications to exchange multiple images and videos of child sexual abuse, including depictions involving prepubescent children. Donovan also used web-based messaging applications to solicit and engage in conversations with minors, including requesting nude photos from minors and sending nude photos to minors. I did.
