Most voters want former President Donald Trump to handle key issues over President Joe Biden ahead of the 2024 election, according to recent polls.

Inflation is the top issue for voters heading into November, according to a new NBC News poll, and most respondents think President Trump can handle the issue better than the current president.

When asked who they would like to address the issue of rising costs, a majority of respondents (52%) said they preferred Trump over Biden.

Only 30% of likely voters said they believed Biden had the upper hand on this issue.
