New Report Claims George Soros Distributed $80 Million To Leftist Groups Celebrating Terrorism And Violence

A recent report from the Capital Research Center (CRC) indicates that billionaire donor George Soros has funneled over $80 million into groups that have openly supported terrorism within the United States and incited violent protests.

Through his Open Society Foundation, Soros has allocated significant funds to organizations engaging in actions that match the FBI’s classification of domestic terrorism. This report surfaces amid ongoing investigations into potential ties between these leftist organizations and a murder linked to Charlie Kirk, the founder of Turning Point USA, on September 10th.

Since 2020, the Open Society Foundation has granted $400,000 to the Center for Third World Organizations (CTWO), which has seen its actions described by the CRC as disregarding public order during the George Floyd riots. CTWO has been connected with radical groups like the Ruckus Society, which, notably, provides materials for training and has been labeled “possibly outside the law.” This network also ties in with the Blackout Collective, known for co-authoring a pro-Hamas guide that praises aggression and refers to tactics aimed at property destruction and blockades.

Moreover, the Open Society Foundation has invested $1.85 million into the Dream Defenders and a similar amount into the Movement for Black Lives, both of which collaborated with the Blackout Collective on that pro-Hamas guide.

Additionally, the foundation provided $200,000 to a group called Dissenters, described as endorsers of a Palestinian Union advocating for illegal tax avoidance to undermine U.S. defense spending. A spokesperson for the National War Tax Resistance Coordination Committee indicated that their advice generally aligns with seeking avenues for illegal tax evasion, though they refrained from commenting directly on the report.

The Sunrise Movement, known for its role in promoting the Stop Cop City initiative, received $2 million from the Open Society Foundation. The group, along with several coalition members, is facing domestic terrorism and other serious charges linked to acts like arson and assaults on law enforcement. The Sunrise Movement has also been accused of contributing to bail funds and supplying equipment that could facilitate illegal activities.

Several organizations connected to Soros, including CTWO, the Ruckus Society, and others, did not respond to outreach for comments. An Open Society spokesperson, however, asserted that the foundation does not support terrorism, stressing that all their activities are legal and aligned with human rights principles.

Former President Donald Trump has called for federal charges against Soros and his son, suggesting that they should face consequences for allegedly backing violent protests. He criticized their actions as damaging to the country and labeled them as part of a broader radical left movement. Following the assassination of Kirk, many House Republicans have pushed for a select committee to investigate what they call the radical left’s attacks on America, including the financial and influential forces behind them.

Trump also remarked that he intends to label Antifa as a “major terrorist organization,” condemning it as a radical left-wing disaster, signaling potential further scrutiny of financial influences behind these movements.
