The incident reportedly occurred in early October and involved a contractor who allegedly said displaying President Trump's materials could result in adverse treatment by FEMA.
“My staff just contacted a new whistleblower who says a FEMA contractor visited the home of an elderly disabled veteran's family on or about October 10th. During his stay, he advised his family to remove Trump campaign materials and signs from their homes.'' FEMA supervisors viewed Trump supporters as domestic terrorists. “There are,” Comer wrote.

“The elderly homeowners were so horrified by this that they removed the signs, fearing they would not be able to recover their losses. Yet, FEMA has not returned them to their residences. This comes after reports surfaced that a FEMA supervisor identified as Marni Washington directed aid workers in Florida to detour around the homes of Trump supporters while distributing aid after Hurricane Milton. The latest whistleblower adds to the list of allegations against FEMA. The claims included screenshots of internal communications and leadership flowcharts showing Washington's involvement.
Earlier Tuesday, Republican New York Rep. Mark Molinaro pressed FEMA Secretary DeAnne Criswell over allegations that FEMA is prioritizing assistance to undocumented immigrants over American citizens in disaster response. Molinaro cited records showing that FEMA has allocated nearly $1 billion to aid the migrant crisis while struggling to fund hurricane recovery. Mr. Molinaro asked Mr. Criswell to address what he called “irrational” funding decisions.
