Celebrity chef Alex Guanasherli believes in combining his love for cooking with his appreciation for American firefighters. And she has some tricks on her sleeves for a convenient way to enhance the protein content of everyday diets.
She also considers “joy” to be an important quality in preparing healthy foods.
The New York-based chef says her freshly made original pancakes are the focus of her latest “Stack of Divived Back Back” initiative with Nutella. (See the video at the top of this article.)

“This is a program that appoints local fire stations, and selected fire stations will win a Pancake Fire Station breakfast gig, which will provide all the essentials so that you can hold a pancake breakfast.”
“This is important because it's a traditional way for fire departments to fund everything across the US.”

She launched the program last year and “has received such a tremendous response from so many people who appointed a local fire department,” she said.
“It was beautiful. It's kind of easy,” she added, referring to her own involvement and why she was chosen to spend her time on the causes she gives to others.
“I love everything about this.”
“We don't often come across a great combination of product integration and beautiful causes. Nutella's ties with pancakes, fundraising for the US fire department and the country's first responders,” she said.
“I love everything about this.”

She said that stacking pancakes “is going to be a way for people to give back. It really feels natural and true.”
Guana Chelli said that the pancakes she serves are “really the main characters of the play. These cinnamon cloud pancakes with egg whites folded, they are wonderful and fluffy.

She said, “Folding these egg whites into pancake striking adds much more protein to the equation I love. Everything I add here will enhance the program.”
As we are exercising again today for American health, and among many Americans, we are currently working on a fortified interest nationwide in healthy diets and nutritious foods. Guanasherri said, “Two-thirds of the protein in an egg are white. [pancakes] It has more protein and is lighter and fluffy at the same time. ”

That was her “motivation” for these ingredients in her recipes.
“We're always trying to narrow that extra protein down to meals like brunch or breakfast,” she said.
“When I developed this pancake, I was like, “How can I make more protein sneaky and fun here? And I often fold cottage cheese to make frittatus instead of cheese.”
“When you cut everything down and make it only about those added proteins, my brain said, “I didn't enjoy today. You didn't feed the meter of joy.”
“The other thing I want to say is when you cut everything out and make it only about those added proteins, those healthy things. For me, it reaches a turning point like my brain “I wasn't having fun today. You didn't feed a meter of joy.” ”
And, “I think you need to do that,” she said.

“So if you have a reasonable portion — for example, two tablespoons of Nutella with these protein-rich pancakes, with fresh fruits rich in protein, preferably raspberries — that's my favorite combination.
She said that it was about “making people not letting them get too far from their comfort zone” in terms of their cooking ability.
“When you share recipes and foods with anyone on any platform, that's just a little tweak,” Guanasherri said.
Fun facts about Nutella in honor of Nutella Day
For example, for roasted chicken, “Add some roasted vegetables along with the chicken. This could not have been possible before.
“Yeah, that was good. I'm going to make it again. It worked.”
“And puree some of those roasted vegetables with bone soup and mustard and apple cider vinegar,” continued Guanachelli.
“And you have this naturally thickened juice that you made yourself while you were cutting the chicken, with no flour, cornstarch or nonsense.”
It's “home cooking, some innovations, some techniques apply, but “Oh, that was good. I'll make it again. It worked.”

1. Start the batter: in a large bowl, whisk together buttermilk, butter, vanilla, salt and egg yolk. Simply sieve flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon and ginger over the wet ingredients and whisk them.
2. Preheat the oven to 300F.
3. Add egg whites: In a clean bowl of an electric mixer equipped with a whisk, whisk the egg whites and cream at medium speed on medium speed until egg whites and soft peaks form for 4-5 minutes. Use a rubber spatula to gently fold the white into the flour. Do not mix too much. There should be egg white stripes that are not fully combined. The key is to keep the white as little as possible and keep it fluffy.
