News Outlets Refer to Deported Immigrant with Two Dozen Arrests as ‘Colorado Grandfather’

Some media portray him as a harmless elderly man who was simply walking his dog before immigration agents intervened and deported him.

Before delving into the real story about 67-year-old Baldomero Noa-Castaneda and his supposed “contributions” to society, let’s take a moment. There seems to be quite a bit of misinformation…

“We need you to hear this. I just want my grandfather back home,” his granddaughter expresses. “He has been here for 47 years. He met my grandmother in 1983. He’s a good person who follows the rules.”

CBS Colorado adds to the narrative, stating, “But it wasn’t an issue when ICE detained Noah Castaneda while he was outside walking his dog in Littleton on the morning of June 8.”

Amid lengthy reporting, a few facts manage to seep through.

Noah Castaneda does have a history, including two charges from 1995 related to shoplifting and another for alcohol consumption in 1999, yet his family insists he’s built his life here over nearly five decades.

Then, after some additional context, we arrive at a crucial piece of information.

“Noah, an undocumented foreign national, has a criminal history including over two dozen arrests for offenses like theft, assault, and shoplifting,” an ICE statement mentions. “Due to these crimes, he spent at least four years in prison. An immigration judge ordered him to leave in 1990, and he was deported to Mexico today.”

ICE Denver responded to CBS Colorado with a clarification of their own:

Homeland Security also took to social media to clarify the events surrounding the case.

“Colorado’s grandfather,” they said, seems to have become a controversial topic.

It’s remarkable what narrative can be spun. Big lies, small lies, truths, and things that might not even matter—it’s all tangled up. It feels frustrating, doesn’t it?

Why is this happening? Well, there’s a pretty straightforward reason…

The left-wing agenda seems to involve using high taxes, confusing regulations, and chaos in urban settings to drive regular folks out of Democrat-led cities and states. This creates an environment where control can easily shift to their advantage. Plus, bringing in individuals from other countries helps maintain federal funding, congressional representation, and political power. The added element of importing challenges into the mix appears to benefit certain political agendas.

The Democrats seem to be leaning back toward their historical roots regarding sanctuary states and cities.
