It's crazy that there are only six weeks left in the NFL regular season. It's been a season full of ups and downs, but Kansas City and Detroit have maintained their status quo, with the likes of Dallas and Cleveland completely collapsing and the Chargers and Commanders unexpectedly surging.
This is the weird part of football season where trap games start to creep in. Confident playoff teams start looking a little further into the season, while brave losers looking to continue their development are looking for a statement. That means a series of games where we really don't know what's going to happen, nothing is certain, and the league's top players are just hoping to get through the next few weeks without major injuries in preparation for the playoffs. That's what it means.
There are two obvious games on the Week 12 calendar: 49ers vs. Packers and Ravens vs. Chargers. In either case, San Francisco and Green Bay can't afford to lose if they want to keep their playoff hopes alive, but the Ravens and Chargers (both of whom should be playoff teams) are hoping to advance. If only they could catch up to their division and close in on home field.
