The NFL regular season is coming to an end. While the playoff teams are being finalized and the bad teams are hoping a surprise win doesn't ruin their draft position, everyone left in the middle is just waiting to see how this plays out.
There are some important games on the calendar this weekend to see how this all ends. The first will be the Chiefs vs. Texans, where Patrick Mahomes will play admirably despite suffering from a sprained ankle. There's no question that Kansas City needs Mahomes if they want to maintain home-field advantage through the playoffs, but the Texans honestly don't have much to play for other than show off after winning the AFC South. .
Next we move on to the Vikings vs. Seahawks game, which has some pretty wild implications. Minnesota desperately wants to find a backdoor to win the NFC North and have the best record in the NFC, while Seattle desperately needs a win to overtake the Rams and make a postseason berth. Los Angeles plays the Jets this week, so a win is essential for the Seahawks.
