Staying warm was a top priority for those heading to Arrowhead Stadium for Saturday night's playoff game between the Kansas City Chiefs and Miami Dolphins.
Temperatures rise just before kickoff Kansas City's temperature dropped to -3 degrees Fahrenheit.. Winds were blowing at 12 mph and the temperature felt like -21 degrees.
Taylor Swift was among those who braved the cold wearing an oversized Travis Kelsey jacket with her name and number emblazoned on it.

Kelce was one of the players who wore additional headgear to protect his head. The players' faces were red as they warmed up and their breaths could be seen in the frigid temperatures.
Weather was a major concern among NFL fans after officials postponed the game between the Buffalo Bills and Pittsburgh Steelers in Orchard Park, New York, due to weather. Robert Griffin III implored the NFL to do the same for the Chiefs-Dolphins game.

The 1967 “Ice Bowl” between the Green Bay Packers and Dallas Cowboys was played in minus 13 degrees Celsius and minus 48 degrees Celsius wind.

In 2016, the Minnesota Vikings had the third-coldest game in NFL history. The temperature at kickoff for the wild card matchup was -6 degrees Celsius, with a wind chill of -25 degrees Celsius. The match was held at TCF Bank Stadium.
