Dan Campbell’s Offseason Routine
This offseason, Detroit Lions Coach Dan Campbell is engaging in a task many parents can relate to—helping their kids transition home from college.
This weekend, he assisted his daughter Piper in packing up her dorm after completing her freshman year. It seems not even NFL coaches can escape the occasional struggle with furniture.
Campbell’s wife, Holly, shared a fun moment on Friday, featuring a video of her attempting to move a large bag of beans from the dorm to their truck on Instagram. “I brought the muscles and the track,” she can be heard saying during the clip.
Once the bag was loaded, Campbell hopped into the truck to maneuver it into the right spot.
Comments on the post highlighted the relatable image of seeing a figure like Campbell, typically associated with a tough NFL persona, engaging in the daily routine of parents moving their children home for the summer. The mingling of his tough exterior with such normalcy struck a chord with many.
Following this break, Campbell and the Lions coaching staff will reconvene later this month when Organized Team Activities (OTAs) kick off on May 28, followed by mandatory mini-camp starting June 10.
