Diana Bojorquez, the wife of Cleveland Browns punter Corey Bojorquez, shared a humorous yet relatable struggle faced by many NFL families when preparing for her daughter to start school in Ohio. Living away from family can complicate things, especially when it comes to emergency contacts.

In a recent social media video, Diana highlighted the challenge of figuring out who to list as emergency contacts since they don’t have relatives nearby. “We have a couple of friends, but they don’t live close,” she explained, noting the busy nature of their lives centered around football.

The situation prompted Diana to come up with a unique solution. She decided to list the Cleveland Browns’ security number as an emergency contact. It was, as she noted with a laugh, a way to ensure that someone would always be available in case they were unreachable. “If they can’t contact me or my husband, they’ll pick up their phone. They usually have access to him, even when he’s in a meeting,” she added.

After sharing her story, Diana mentioned that several other NFL wives expressed appreciation for her idea, even some she hadn’t met before. It resonates, she noted, as many in similar situations may not think to utilize such resources. “It’s something I never really thought of, but it seems to be a great idea,” she remarked.

The Bojorquez family also faces the usual difficulties of balancing life in the NFL; they have two young daughters while Diana’s family resides in Hawaii and Corey’s parents are in California. As Bojorquez enters his eighth year in the NFL and fourth with the Browns, he’s already notable for leading the league in punt yards last season.
