NH Voters Split over Legitimacy of Biden’s 2020 Election

Republican voters in New Hampshire appear to be divided on whether President Joe Biden's 2020 election was legitimate, a CNN exit poll found Tuesday evening.

CNN reported that the poll found that “about half believe President Joe Biden's victory over Trump four years ago was legitimate.”

CNN has not disclosed the breakdown of the poll results.

The poll also found that Biden's open borders and economic downturn are New Hampshire's biggest issues. Both of these issues, which are top concerns in the Granite State, are also reflected in national polls.
CNN reported that abortion and foreign policy are less important than immigration and the economy.

Most voters (about 7 in 10 voters) say the state of the economy is not very good or bad. About half say they want most illegal immigrants in the U.S. to be deported to their countries of origin. In contrast to Iowa, a majority of voters in New Hampshire say they oppose a federal ban on most or all abortions.

Voters are divided on the United States' role overseas, with about 4 in 10 saying they want the United States to play a less active role and about 3 in 10 saying they want a more active role. and that the rest should remain largely as they are.

About two-thirds of respondents said they were “conservative,” and 25% said they were “very conservative.” Only one-third said it was “moderate.”
