NHL and Fanatics introduce “Hometown Remix” jerseys celebrating local culture across all 32 teams

The NHL and Fanatics have introduced “Hometown Remix,” a new collection of special-edition jerseys, apparel and headwear for all 32 teams. The designs draw on each club’s local culture, history and fan base.

The partnership has been developing the program for two years. Fanatics became the NHL’s official on-ice uniform and authentic outfitter before the 2024–25 season.

“Few symbols in sports carry the history, pride and emotional connection of an NHL sweater,” said Brian Jennings, the league’s senior executive vice president of club strategy and partnerships. He said the new designs aim to honor that tradition while reflecting what makes each city and its fans distinct.

Florida, Chicago and San Jose are set to debut their jerseys Monday night. Teams will wear their Hometown Remix uniforms several times over the rest of the season.

The jerseys were designed from the ground up, with local landmarks and symbols worked into the details. Chicago’s version has a bright green base, the team’s current crest and gold shoulder patches. Four recessed six-pointed stars on each sleeve reference the city flag. Florida’s jersey takes inspiration from beachwear and features a reworked version of a vintage Panthers shoulder logo.

Other designs include an aurora borealis scene along the Winnipeg Jets’ jersey hem and a brown uniform for the Boston Bruins, their first in more than a century. Fanatics creative design vice president Dom Fillion said the process involved close collaboration with each club to make the jerseys feel true to their communities.

Hometown Remix is the first league-wide program of its kind under the NHL-Fanatics partnership. Fanatics has also created special uniforms for events including the Winter Classic, Stadium Series and Heritage Classic, as well as anniversary and centennial jerseys for individual teams.
