Tragic House Fire Claims Lives of Minnesota Wild Reporter and Her Children

A heartbreaking incident occurred in White Bear Lake, Minnesota, where Jesse Pierce, a reporter for the Minnesota Wild, and her three children tragically lost their lives in a house fire on Saturday.

Fire officials reported that the fire broke out early in the morning at a single-family home. Witnesses recounted seeing flames erupting from the roof. Sadly, firefighters also discovered the family’s dog had perished in the blaze.

The Minnesota Wild organization expressed deep sorrow following the news, stating, “The Wild organization in Minnesota is heartbroken by the tragic loss of Jessie Pierce and her children. Jessie was a kind and caring person who cared deeply about her family and those around her.” They went on to acknowledge her role as an ambassador for hockey during her career covering the Wild and the NHL.

Jessie loved our game and was a valued member of the NHL.com team for 10 years. We will miss her greatly.”
