Nikki Haley receives her first endorsement from a senator ahead of Super Tuesday primaries 

Sen. Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska) endorsed Nikki Haley for president on Friday, becoming the first senator to publicly endorse the former South Carolina governor’s campaign.

“I am proud to support Governor Nikki Haley,” Murkowski said in a statement released by Haley’s campaign. “America needs someone with the right values, energy and judgment as its next president, and there is no better person to lead this campaign than she.”

“Nicki will be a strong leader and champion of Republican ideals as a president for all Americans.”
