Despite her crushing loss in the New Hampshire primary, Nikki Haley is “hanging in,” Dave Rubin said, sharing a clip of a recent speech the Republican candidate gave.
“Because of Donald Trump, the Republican Party lost almost every race. They lost the Senate, they lost the House, they lost the White House, they lost in 2018, they lost in 2020, and they lost in 2022.” she went on to add. “The biggest secret in politics is how hard Democrats want to take on Donald Trump.”
“I don’t think she’s completely wrong,” Dave told Sara Gonzalez and Michael Maris, adding that he thinks Haley should stay long enough, at least through the South Carolina primary.
“Having your position extradited in your home state is very bad for your long-term career,” Maris said. Especially considering that “that state’s Sen. Tim Scott endorsed Trump.”
“For many conservatives, and they are absolutely right, if Nikki Haley wins, the Republican Party has lost because it has lost everything that matters to the Republican Party,” he said. He went on to point out that Hailey “supports transgender kids.” He’s a huge warmonger” and “[not] Fiscally conservative. ”
“The idea seems to be that Nikki is actually only staying there because President Trump will choose her to be his vice president because President Trump needs female voters,” Dave says.
“But the thing about Trump is that he’s just that, a loyalist. He values loyalty above all else, and Nikki Haley has been unfaithful to him for years,” Sarah says.
