Nine Inch Nails Announce First World Tour In Seven Years

Legendary rock group Nine Inch Nails announced that they will embark on a world tour but told fans details are being held back out of respect for those affected by the wildfires in California.

The band revealed their upcoming tour in an Instagram post shared early on Jan. 14, but stopped short of boasting the news given the tragedy unfolding in Los Angeles.

“Since some dates and information about our world tour have leaked we are confirming that yes we will be touring and will provide more details soon,” they wrote to their official social media account. “We are all watching the devastation that is unfolding in California and have paused our announcement while people try to deal with all that is happening.”

The Nine Inch Nails turned off comments on the post, preventing fans from being able to publicly share their thoughts about the announcement.

The band put the focus on those in need as a result of the raging fires once more by sharing a list of resources on their Instagram stories, including the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and Los Angeles Animal Services.

Rumors about the tour began to surface on social media Jan. 13 when internet users posted screenshots that promoted concert dates and locations, as well as ticket sale information.

No official shows, dates or tour stop locations have been confirmed by the band at this time.

The leaked title of the tour is being circulated as “Peel It Back,” but the band has not confirmed or denied the accuracy of that information. (RELATED: Entertainment Industry Halts While Los Angeles Burns: A Complete List Of Cancelations)
