NIT bracket selection 2025 live stream: Time, TV channel, how to watch online

NCAA Tournaments aren't the only choice on Sundays. Hours after the 2025 Men's NCAA Tournament Bracket was announced, the 68 field snubs will win another shot in the postseason when the NIT bracket was announced. There will be 32 teams on the National Invitational Tournament, and the field will be announced at 9:30pm on ESPN2.

The NIT will begin on March 18th and the game will be played at the luxury team's home gym. It will end with the NIT semi-finals on April 1 and the championship game on April 3 at the Hinkle Field House in Indianapolis on Butler University's campus.

The NCAA Tournament bubble is full of blue blood and could become a thrilling field in NIT. Latest in-parent projections on bracket blogs North Carolina, Texas and Indiana were all one of the first four teams in the NCAA Tournament. OhioDayton, Wake ForestNebraska and SMU are also powerful teams currently projected onto the wrong side of the bubble. NIT has been home to great postseason college basketball since 1938, and again this year there are plenty of quality programs to make up a single elimination bracket.

NIT will receive an automatic bid to regular season conference champions with eligible cumulative scores for weight indicators such as Kenpom and Bad Tovik efficiency statistics, as well as traditional indicators such as BPI and NIT. It's fascinating to see if the program to decline invitations will still fall to focus on building a roster in next year's transfer portal. With the final opportunity to play on college campus, NIT will be enjoyable all the way to the semi-finals and finals at the historic Hinkle Field House.

Last year in 2024, the NIT Championship game between Seton Hall and Indiana State was an all-timer. Seton Hall closed the game with a 9-0 run and stole the victory. It was one of the most exciting men's college games of the year.
