NJ senator says mysterious drones 'almost certainly planes,' slams federal response

A mysterious drone flying over the Garden State could be a plane, Sen. Andy Kim (D.N.J.) said in a series of posts on social platform He said it was highly sexual.

“After going with the police to observe reports of possible drone sightings, I was able to conduct a more detailed analysis with the assistance of commercial pilots and others, and most of the possible drone sightings noted were We concluded that it was almost certainly an airplane,” Kim said. said in first post of the thread.

Since the drones were first discovered, Kim has advocated for federal agencies to investigate sightings and joined in with local police observations to find answers on his own.

“While we have not received any feedback or information from federal authorities, we have reached out to commercial aviators and others for analysis,” he said in a second post with a video.

“We used public flight tracking tools to recreate the situation at the time of the timeout.”

He acknowledged that much of the aviation activity was carried out by planes, but some may have seen actual drones.

“I'm not discounting the possibility that others witnessed actual drone activity. Not everything I saw was completely explained by the flight path, but most of it was,” Kim he wrote.

“And I think the process that got the confirmation demonstrates the clarification that is needed from government officials to address the public's concerns.”

Kim pointed out that press releases without analysis are useless and encouraged authorities to provide more information to the public.

“Federal experts, including the local police department that took me, should provide information and guidance to help the public decipher what they are seeing. In exchange, myself and other requesters should provide feedback. I have not received it,” he wrote.

The new senator promised more answers for the community in the coming days.

He took issue with the federal government's response to the drone sighting earlier this week, arguing that voters “are not getting the answers they need from the federal investigation.”
