Nomiki Konst says that Bill de Blasio, her former partner, wanted children with her before the cheating scandal.

Nomiki Const, former partner of Bill de Blasio, revealed that he expressed a desire to have a child with Arizona Mayor Roxanna Valenzuela before being unfaithful to her. This surprising information came out during her appearance on the YouTube show “Why Did They Break Up?”

Const, a 41-year-old political commentator, shared that she has endometriosis and has gone through six egg-freezing procedures. She mentioned that when she discussed this with de Blasio, 64, he showed interest and asked her numerous questions about the potential of having kids.

“On the plane to California, we kept talking about the process and what it would be like. It got serious right away,” she recalled.

When asked by host Toure if de Blasio wanted to have children with her, she confirmed, “Yes.” However, a source later indicated to Page Six that although they were freezing eggs, they were not actively trying to have children together.

Interestingly, sources revealed that de Blasio and Valenzuela began their relationship over a month before he broke up with Const, who had been with him for nearly a year.

According to reports, the two first met at a business lunch in September but ended up back at his apartment shortly after for intimacy. Just two days later, they met again secretly when Valenzuela took him to volunteer at a soup kitchen.

It came to light that de Blasio confessed about the affair to Const while they were on vacation in Greece, where he was undergoing IVF treatments. Despite the revelation, sources close to Const stated that the couple tried to work through their issues. However, on November 4, she discovered that he was still in contact with Valenzuela, who had flown to New York to see him during an election celebration.

De Blasio has since admitted that he fell in love with Valenzuela and told Page Six, “I wish Nomiki all the best, but I’m sorry that our relationship ended this way. I fell in love with someone else. I should have told her sooner.”

Despite his new relationship, he added that he has no plans for divorce from his previous partner, Charlaine McCray, with whom he shares two children, even though they announced their separation in 2023.
