Incident at Federal Building in New York

In New York City, a 43-year-old man named Andrew Aravaca turned himself in after a leftist-related incident outside a federal building in lower Manhattan.

The former U.S. Army soldier is accused of pouring gasoline in a stairwell and igniting it with a firework, causing flames and smoke to engulf the building’s exterior before discharging an airsoft gun.

Discussing the situation, a host remarked, “To be fair, it’s just gasoline on cement.” Another co-host noted, “But there were fireworks and explosives. Some people got hurt, right? This isn’t a blank scenario.” There seems to be a growing concern about similar events occurring more frequently among leftist groups.

One of the hosts expressed that while this individual may not be akin to a terrorist like Osama bin Laden, the actions are indicative of recurring violent behavior within certain segments of the left. “They do these things often,” he stated.

He added, “This behavior is unique to the left. It’s part of the movement, albeit an extreme aspect. Regular leftists seem to overlook it, focusing only on violence from the right.”

Following the incident, FBI Assistant Director James Barnacle highlighted that they were treating the occurrence with utmost seriousness. He pointed out that Aravaca was found with anti-ICE literature in his possession and had reportedly hurled insults at ICE during his arrest, branding him an “anti-American, anti-government extremist.”

Barnacle further explained, “We know this from his statements and actions today.” One of the co-hosts humorously suggested with regards to Aravaca’s profile, “If that’s the case, he should run for Congress.”
