North Carolina Has More Undocumented Individuals than Arizona

“There are more undocumented individuals in North Carolina than in Arizona,” stated Rep. Brad Nott (R-NC). He mentioned this during a podcast where they touched on President Donald Trump’s win and potential collaborations with fellow representatives Mark Harris (R-NC) and Tim Moore (R-NC).

During the discussion, lawmakers highlighted a significant MAGA achievement in North Carolina, with Nott pointing out the effectiveness of a notable bill aimed at safeguarding family farms.

“It’s overlooked that the real issue is the rise of corporate farming in our nation. Many family farms have shut down. If the current farmers or residents decide to leave, they might struggle to cover their taxes,” he explained.

“We addressed border issues,” he asserted, adding, “North Carolina functions as a border state.”

“Just recently, I spoke with someone who mentioned that there are more undocumented individuals in North Carolina than in Arizona. These are immediate benefits not only for my district but for the state as a whole,” he detailed.

When asked to estimate the share of illegal drugs linked to violence at the border, Nott provided some insights.

“Except for marijuana, all illegal drugs are produced outside the U.S. Regarding the southern border, it’s estimated that at least 85-90% of these drugs come from there. It’s quite ingenious. They’re finding unique ways,” he remarked.

He reflected on the past, noting that in 1990, fewer than 5,000 Americans succumbed to drug overdoses, whereas from 2000 onwards, over 1.2 million lives have been lost.

“When considering the scale of this issue, many focus on the financial aspect. But how do you really define that cost? It’s about a lost culture, broken families, and lost income,” he continued.

“We can’t even begin to tally the number of cases involving deceased Americans in recent years. It’s deeply troubling. Yet, by the grace of God, we’re here trying to address the situation,” he added.
