Not A Good Look: Matt Barnes Beefs With High School Student While At Son’s Basketball Game

I can’t be serious…

Former NBA player Matt Barnes fed his son beef at his high school basketball game over the weekend. The contest was between Crespi Carmelite and Harvard-Westlake, with Byrne’s son playing for Crespi.

Oh, and another interesting note from this game: Barnes’ son is coached by Derek Fisher, and he appeared in the whole love triangle situation between himself, Barnes, and Barnes’ ex-wife. Wow.

Regardless, Barnes reportedly got into a confrontation after arguing with the referee courtside. When a Crespi Carmelite student announcer told him to “shut up,” Barnes allegedly walked toward him in an aggressive manner. Multiple sources said the student announcer did not tell them to “shut up.” out kick. (Related: Straight Swagoo: NBA Features LED Glass Courts During All-Star Weekend)

Burns had to be told to calm down as people intervened and separated him from the student announcer.

According to OutKick, Jake Lancer, as the broadcaster goes by, claimed to an independent journalist that Mr Burns had threatened to “slap” him.

“[Barnes] I said, “What do you think you’re looking at?” and as I was about to announce to the referee, “Don’t touch me,” during the game, I said, “You’re screaming that you’re an asshole.” Told. I said, “It’s me,” and he said, “I’m going to beat the shit out of you.” ”

clock:

What a terrible look…Matt Barnes has learned nothing from his early years in the NBA. By the way, I can’t get over how awkward this whole relationship between Matt Barnes and Derek Fisher is.
