Singer Kelly Clarkson recently opened up about her massive weight loss and difficult divorce, but she also opened up about one strict rule she set as a parent.

Although Clarkson has been honest in the past about not wanting her children to enter the music industry, she is adamant that her children will not explore the world of social media as long as they live together. It is said that there is.

“That can be really hard for kids in general, but especially for kids whose parents are in public,” Clarkson told People magazine. “So I told them they were never allowed under my roof. [it]. ”

She shares daughter River Rose, 9, and son Remington Alexander, 7, with ex-husband Brandon Blackstock, who she split with in 2020. The divorce was controversial, but was finally finalized in 2022.

“My daughter was like, 'What if daddy lets me?'” She was like, “Well, you're going to be there four days a month. Enjoy it.” And so far, he’s not letting them do that either,” Clarkson said of Blackstock. “I'll ask them when they're older, but no until we have a solid discussion.”

Clarkson agreed on social media, but admitted that co-parenting isn't easy. “There's so much emotion and trauma involved,” she explained, especially at first.

“It's hard enough when you're married and have two different backgrounds and different ways of upbringing and upbringing. It can be difficult to do that in different families,” she explained, then added that the situation added that it has improved.
