Now Biden Wishes Christians a Happy Easter

The White House moved Sunday to announce well-wishes for Christians, following an earlier uproar stemming from President Joe Biden’s acceptance of Easter Sunday as “Transgender Visibility Day.”

a statement The White House issued a statement to that effect, saying that Easter events celebrate the power of Christ’s resurrection.

Jill and I send warm wishes to Christians around the world as they celebrate Easter Sunday. Easter reminds us of the power of hope and the promise of Christ’s resurrection.

When we gather with our loved ones, we remember Jesus’ sacrifice. We pray for each other and cherish the blessings of the dawning of new possibilities. And as war and conflict take a toll on innocent lives around the world, we renew our commitment to working for peace, security and dignity for all people.

From our family to yours, Happy Easter and God bless you.

The announcement quickly followed on social media, with Mr. Biden repeating the message using his personal POTUS account (formerly known as Twitter).

Biden’s declaration – issued As Breitbart News reported, Good Friday, another holy day for Christians, touted that “transgender Americans are part of the fabric of our country” and called for the passage of the Equality Act.

The legislation would codify Democrats’ embrace of gender identity, the fabricated concept that people can identify and become a different gender than they were born with.

As Republicans in Congress made their opposition clear, Biden’s proclamation went viral and Christians across the country reacted.

“The Biden White House has betrayed the central tenet of Easter: the Resurrection of Jesus Christ,” House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-Louisiana) wrote on X. “Transgender Day” is outrageous and abhorrent, as it “forbids sacred truths and traditions while simultaneously proclaiming Easter Sunday as:” The American people are paying attention. ”

As Breitbart noted, Biden has posted Easter messages on Easter Day before, but his previous remarks were much shorter and more boilerplate than his lengthy message on Transgender Visibility Day. It looked like something.
