NY Congress hopeful Mondaire Jones once accused of stealing Stanford student election — despite regularly condemning Trump’s effort to overturn 2020 election

Former progressive Rep. Mondaire Jones has regularly criticized former President Trump's efforts to overturn the 2020 election, but Jones himself was an undergraduate at Stanford University when he claimed that the election was stolen. I have been accused of doing so.

Election Commissioner Bernard Fraga said the constitution required a runoff, but the Undergraduate Senate and Graduate Student Council voted 12-1 against holding a runoff, making Avula/Jones the winner. It was decided.
