New York City Mayor Eric Adams is being ridiculed and ridiculed for comparing himself to Jesus Christ in comments made at City Hall on Wednesday.

Adams has been criticized by many voters for his handling of New York City’s immigration crisis. Texas Governor Greg Abbott, a Republican, has bused immigrants into the city to challenge Democrats’ “sanctuary city” policy.
Mr. Adams initially blamed Mr. Abbott, but then turned his anger toward New York Gov. Cathy Hochul, a Democrat, for the lack of support from the state government. He also criticized Democratic President Joe Biden’s immigration policies and called on the federal government to provide funding and other aid to address the crisis.
Recent polls show voters blame Democrats for depriving residents of resources that could be available to them due to the ongoing crisis.
