The private French-American school is moving and growing: It has signed a long-term lease for 46,000 square feet in Williams Equities’ 250,000-square-foot commercial building built in 1913 at 120 E. 23rd St.

Ecole will occupy the entire second and third floors and part of the first floor as part of a “building within a building.” The lease is due to commence in October 2025, in time for the new school year. Michael Berger of Colliers represented the school, while Robert Getreu of Williams Principals represented the landlord.

“Ecole had a strong desire to develop a state-of-the-art academic facility to accommodate the growing student population in this vibrant area,” Berger said.
