A serial robber posing as an Amazon delivery worker in New York City is being investigated for at least nine break-ins, police said.
According to the New York City Police Department, the crimes occurred in various areas of Queens. Authorities said the suspects stole thousands of dollars in cash, along with jewelry and other items.

The first robbery occurred more than a year ago, on January 26, 2023, and the most recent occurred on March 5, according to the NYPD. Police said in both cases they entered the home through a window.

No injuries were reported.
Video footage released by the NYPD shows a man wearing an Amazon vest entering the building through the front door. Police say $6,000 in jewelry and other property was stolen in the Aug. 24, 2023 robbery.
One of the victims was Estra Islas, a 35-year-old single mother living in Sunnyside, Queens. FOX5 New York report. The robbers entered her apartment through a bathroom window and rummaged through drawers and closets, she told news outlets.

“He took almost $9,000,” Islas said. “$9,000 in cash.”
Islas said he was saving the money for his 12-year-old daughter.
An Amazon spokesperson told Fox News Digital that the company is investigating the matter.
