Police and reports say that local vigilantes beat him so badly that 19 people were arrested for violent rape attempting to rape a 70-year-old Bronx woman after local vigilantes beat him badly.
Oswald Ramos, 50, attempted to sexually assault her after approaching her senior from behind East 184th Street in Fordham Heights around 1pm on Friday, police said.

The next day, the vigilante neighbour, after clearly recognising him from the released footage, found a wanted man nearby, took matters into his own hands, trolling him to the point where he needed medical, law enforcement sources Told to NBC 4 New York.
The network said anonymous caller told detectives that day later that crews of local people had put street justice at TieBout Avenue and Sex Fiend on East 187th Street.
Before strolling around, the caller told detectives they could find the suspect in the hospital, the outlet reported.
The NYPD confirmed that Ramos, who lived nearby, was arrested Sunday and charged with rape and attempted robbery.
He had not been arrested by Tuesday afternoon. As law enforcement sources said he was still at St. Barnabas Hospital.
The exact nature of his injury was unknown.
Ramos was last arrested on October 6, 2018 and allegedly shot an officer, police said, as he allegedly claimed he had taken the Bronx Deli.
He barged into a store on East 178th Street near Mapes Avenue, flashed the butt of a black handgun and said, “Give me the money. I just shot the cop. I’ll be back tomorrow looking for more money.”
He had not shot the officers, police sources said.
The disposal of that case was not immediately known.
Authorities say most of Ramos’ previous arrests were for robbery and robbery.
